The Spanish Association of Endodontics (AEDE) will bring together hundreds of dental professionals in Seville, from October 31 to November 2, at the 44th National Congress that will convey the latest scientific evidence thanks to more than 25 national and international professionals. More than 60% of the poster of speakers have never spoken before at an AEDE congress The aim is to bring new and current knowledge to all colleagues who attend the meeting.

For this reason, Martín González highlights that “digital flow and magnification will be addressed during the days of the Congress through different presentations and hand-on workshops”. “During the Congress, all topics related to each of the phases of root canal treatment will be addressed, from diagnosis to reconstruction of endodontic or traumatized tooth. Much importance will be given to the latest clinical guidelines published by the different international scientific societies and their dissemination and a lot of emphasis will be placed on the interdisciplinary relationship of Endodontics with other areas of Dentistry, without forgetting the most avant-garde techniques,” he points out. The event also includes in its program the evolution of Endodontics at the teaching level, basic research in biomaterials or efficiency in Endodontics, among many other topics.

Among the news of this editionthe congress will have two plenary rooms in which more than a dozen workshops given by commercial houses and a free course on dental traumatologyon Thursday, October 31, by Dr. Montse Mercadé. That same day, two pre-congress workshops will take place led by doctors Silvia del Cid and Javier Nieto, who will address with cutting-edge planning and stratification techniques in traumatized teeth and the handling of separate instruments. In both workshops, real situations will be simulated, reproducing day-to-day contexts in offices in simulation head models to achieve and acquire skills in ergonomics and posture.
